JOSH
1) When I first started creating characters, the protagonist was always named Josh. So it's sort of a tribute/force of habit.
2) I once drew a guy with a flower growing out of his hair, and it just snowballed from there. So basically he just came to me, and I figured I'd make some lemonade.
3) Magic-pooping wangst-ball -> electric-pooping wangst-ball. I suck.
4) He shoplifts by fucking up the security equip and removing the magnets from t-shirts. Tough muthafucka he is, rriight.

ACE LINK
1) The first version of his name was boring and not enough 'obnoxious rich kid'. Thus, I revamped the name just this year! That's his whole name, by the way. All short, media-sexy and fun to use as his whole pet-name.
2) Josh needed a sidekick. Durr.
3) Well, he's still annoying and all over the place, but now he's also a former childstar! You may puke blood now.
4) He's got a pet named Elvis. Nobody really knows whether it's a cat or a dog, since it's all covered in thick, long hair. Or at least Ace refuses to tell its species.

MICHEL
1) Just something I suddenly came up with at the moment of doing his design. It suited him like a glove!
2) I was in Liminka with buddies, and the ~*~Creative Magic of the Art School~*~ sprinkled me with inspiration! Also, token black guy. A-hahahaha.
3) Not much, really. Unless you count the fact that he's replacing an older character of mine. Compared to the old one, Michel is sulkier. Not much else, really.

GIO
1) I once made a just-for-the-lulz portrait of this one guy at my school, and I captioned the picture 'Giovanni', an Italian equivalent of his first name. Then the picture turned into the first design of the character, and I just kept the name.
2) As mentioned earlier, based on a portrait.
3) Gio also replaced an older character, so there's really no actual changes per se, since they are two different characters. But as for their differences, the old one had a longer hair and a goatee. Thank God I killed him.
4) HE'S A FUCKING ALIEN. Awmawgawd.
